Dr. Greg Asatrian was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, he has always been drawn to healthcare, but orthodontics stood out to him because it allows science, art, and personal connection to blend all into one. The idea of being able to transform smiles while also changing the way people feel about themselves motivates and drives him to work everyday.

Dr. Greg is dedicated to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care while ensuring a fun and positive experience for every patient and family. His vision is to create a welcoming environment where each visit feels like coming home to family.

He began his educational journey at UCLA where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. He continued his education at UCLA where he graduated Dental School as an inductee into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. During his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at UCLA, he served as Chief Resident for all three years and graduated Summa Cum Laude where he also earned a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology. Throughout his training, he received 27 awards and held 16 leadership positions.

Besides being an Orthodontist, Dr. Greg stays passionate about advancing the dental field through patient education. He created Braces Explained, a Youtube channel with over 180,000 subscribers, where he breaks down orthodontic concepts for patients and dental professionals worldwide. He also consults for Crest/ Oral-B and contributes to scientific research, having authored over 30 publications and presented at more than 100 conferences.

Outside of the office, Dr. Greg loves to travel, explore new restaurants, and socialize with friends and family. He is excited to meet you and is ready to take on as your orthodontist to help you create a new, beautiful, and confident smile!
