Dr. Parisa’s path to becoming an orthodontist began at UCLA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with a minor in Iranian Studies.
Her passion for healthcare, science, and community led her north to attend the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
While at UCSF, Dr. Parisa was known not only for her academic excellence but also for her leadership and dedication to patient-centered care. Her drive to expand her impact in healthcare inspired her to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of San Francisco, where she deepened her understanding of healthcare systems, leadership, and practice management.
Eager to specialize in orthodontics, Dr. Parisa completed her orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific (UOP), Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she also obtained her Master of Science in Dentistry. There, she trained extensively in the latest technologies and techniques to provide the highest quality orthodontic care to patients of all ages.
In addition to completing orthodontic residency training, Dr. Parisa advanced her education further by completing her board certification, and currently serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Today, Dr. Parisa combines her diverse educational background, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach to help her patients achieve not just beautiful smiles—but lasting confidence.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Parisa has been deeply involved in leadership, research, and service, experiences that continue to shape her compassionate and comprehensive approach to orthodontic care.
While completing her undergraduate studies in Psychobiology with a minor in Iranian Studies at UCLA, Dr. Parisa served as a Resident Assistant, where she fostered community and supported fellow students in their academic and personal growth. She also engaged in several extracurricular activities and leadership roles, laying the foundation for her lifelong commitment to service and advocacy.
Dr. Parisa went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she was actively involved in research, student leadership, and national dental education initiatives. She held multiple leadership roles in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) at both the local and national levels, where she helped shape policy and programming. During her time at UCSF, she was also first published, an achievement that reflected her dedication to academic excellence and advancement in the field of dentistry.
Driven to deepen her knowledge of the healthcare industry, Dr. Parisa pursued an MBA at the University of San Francisco before beginning her orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. While at UOP, she led and participated in research comparing Invisalign First to traditional braces in Phase I patients. Her work was ultimately published, contributing to the growing body of knowledge on early orthodontic treatment options.
In addition to her academic and clinical accomplishments, Dr. Parisa continued her leadership journey through involvement with the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), where she became increasingly active during her residency. She currently serves on the PCSO Board of Directors, helping shape the future of orthodontics through education, advocacy, and professional development.
Dr. Parisa’s unique blend of scientific rigor, leadership, and compassion ensures her patients receive not only the highest quality of orthodontic care—but also the guidance, support, and empowerment they need to smile with confidence.
